Oregon Ducks Claim Historic Victory Over Ohio State in Top-Three Matchup

The Oregon Ducks delivered a thrilling upset, defeating No. 2 Ohio State 32-31 in a heart-pounding top-three matchup that had fans on the edge of their seats. This showdown at Autzen Stadium saw 60,129 fans witness history, marking the Ducks' first-ever win over a top-two opponent.

After trading scores all game, Ohio State took a narrow 31-29 lead with a field goal late in the fourth quarter. But Ducks’ quarterback Dillon Gabriel led a clutch drive, and kicker Atticus Sappington nailed a 19-yard field goal to seal Oregon’s win. The Buckeyes had one last chance, but quarterback Will Howard couldn’t stop the clock in time. The Ducks improved to 6-0, while Ohio State fell to 5-1.
