The world's largest ice cream chain is offering a free waffle cone with a double or triple scoop purchase on July 19. The celebration will continue on July 31 with a 31% discount for the company's 31st birthday. There are numerous locations throughout the state.
Cold Stone Creamery:
Members of the "My Cold Stone Club," the chain's free rewards club, get a free "creation" personalized serving after purchasing one. There are numerous locations throughout Metro Detroit. You can sign up for free here.
PetSmart:
National Ice Cream Day is for your dog, too. Between Noon and 4pm, PetSmart will be giving out free samples of dog-safe ice cream at participating PetsHotel locations. There are numerous locations throughout Michigan.
Dippin' Dots:
Participating Dippin' Dots franchise locations (at malls and shopping centers) will be handing out free samples of its newest flavor, Redberry Sherbet, which is made with Sour Patch Kids. There is a location at Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor and one in Mackinaw City.
