Jennifer Lawrence Contrary to speculation
In contrast to rumours, this indicates Jennifer Lawrence's outfit didn't actually rip at Weekend evening of Display Actor's Guild prizes display in Los Angeles (above picture, right).
We did some due persistence and seem to have focused on the problem -- though the situation on this fashion secret can only be shut if Lawrence's outfit customize, beautician Rachel Zoe, Dior or Lawrence herself describe what really occurred. 1/29 UPDATE: A Dior rep informs Enjoyment Every week that Lawrence's outfit was "made with different stages of tulle and silk... It was not attractive and there was no malfunction… it was the style of the dress."
Here's the play-by-play (also see movie below): Lawrence's name was known as within L.A.'s Shrine Audience when she won Excellent Performance by a Women Acting professional in a Major Part for her performance in "Silver Designs Playbook." The 22-year-old celebrity cupped her arms over her oral cavity in an concept of finish shock. Lawrence got up, hugged a few allies at her desk, got a hug and a hug from -- ooh la la -- her SLP co-star Bradley Cooper.
Mere minutes later, we get our first sign at a possible outfit problems -- one that viewers, such as Nicole Kidman and Marion Cotillard, obviously responded to. Dressed in a fast Religious Dior fashion dress, Lawrence discussed a filter passage in between platforms. She showed up with her hip and legs briefly noticeable. Then they amazingly vanished beneath outfit.
But as Lawrence stepped up to the level actions to take her prize from SLP co-star John DeNiro, the outfit horrible again. She was obviously surprised as a reduced level showed up to basically fall -- again, briefly revealing her hip and legs. Then, again, amazingly, the outfit came back to regular.
The fashion savvy have observed that Lawrence's Dior Spring-Summer 2013 dress is tiered. And when the award-winning actress hoisted up her dress to make extra room for walking, she unwittingly grabbed the top tier, leaving the bottom one still sagging low to the ground. The sheer panel that exposed her thighs was part of the lower tier and was not intended for our eyes.
Lawrence handled it like a pro and went on to deliver a touching and memorable acceptance speech. The irony is, she almost didn't make it to the show! She has been ill with walking pneumonia, which kept her from attending the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Awards the night before. The actress did, however, say she was feeling much better on SAG night, revealing in the backstage press room after she won her award, "I got a really cool inhaler."
Incidentally, Lawrence and fellow SAG winner of the evening Anne Hathaway were both styled by Zoe, who also styled a SAG winner's wife of the night, Jennifer Garner (hubby Ben Affleck's "Argo" won Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture). Zoe knows how to pick the winners! Lawrence's Dior gown, which Zoe styled with Chopard jewelry and Jimmy Choo heels, was by Belgian designer Raf Simons. Simons has some explaining to do today!
