Catherine Zeta Jones heads back to work this week after seeking hospitalization for bipolar disorder. A spokesman for Zeta-Jones says that "after dealing with the stress of last year," the actress 41 years old, "decided to check into a mental health center for a short stay to treat her bipolar disorder II."

CeCe Yorke said spokeswoman Catherine Zeta Jones is "feeling good and looking forward to starting work this week for his next two films."

Zeta-Jones is married to Michael Douglas, who has battled throat cancer last year and announced in January that he is cancer free after undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The couple has a son aged 10 and 7 year old daughter.

Bipolar II disorder is characterized by mood swings and depressive episodes, and is commonly treated with medication and psychotherapy.
