Randy Newman "We Belong Together"


"We Belong Together" film "Toy Story 3" with music and lyrics by Randy Newman won an Oscar for Original Song Night Sunday at the 83rd Academy Awards.

Newman, who received his twentieth Oscar nomination for the song, also sung in the movie. His only previous victory came in 2002 for his original song "If I had not" from "Monsters, Inc." Earlier this month, won a Grammy for the soundtrack album of film scoring, television or other visual media "Toy Story 3."

Newman was in competition with Tom Douglas, Troy Verges and Hillary Lindsey for "Coming Home" from "Strong countries," Alan Menken and Glenn Slater for "I See The Light" from "Tangled" and AR Rahman, Dido and Rollo Armstrong "If I Rise" to "127 hours".
