Demi Lovato Camp Rock co-stars

Demi Lovato, star of Disney Channel's Sonny with a Chance, has decided to drop out of the Camp Rock Tour.  She has been on the road these past few weeks touring with her fellow Camp Rock co-stars the Jonas Brothers.  But in the midst of the hectic tour schedule, Demi has gone back home to enter a rehab center for emotional and physical issues that she has been dealing with for a while now.

"Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and to seek help," her rep says. "She is doing just that. Demi and her family ask that the media please respect their privacy during this difficult time. She regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future."  Demi seems to be taking control by getting the help that she needs.  She has had problems in the past including being bullyed in school, among other issues.  Demi has taken a stand on anti bullying lately and has had a hand in bringing the problem to the forefront.

Demi, who is 18, got her big break by starring in the Disney Channel original movie, Camp Rock along with co stars Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas.  Since then, she has had 2 hit CD's with songs such as "Get Back" and "Here We Go Again".  Demi has also had duets with Joe Jonas, whom she has sang with on tour.

The Disney Channel star has many fans that are rooting for her to get back on her feet.  The news this past weekend has made Demi fans wonder what has been going on with her.  There have been many rumors swirling around as to what might have triggered Demi to get the help at this paritcular time in the middle of the tour but whatever the reasons, she has many people on her side including the Jonas managment and many Disney Channel friends.

Demi fans have said what an inspiration she has been to them in their lives.  When Demi gets through this, she may be an even bigger inspiration to her fans.
